Jere Foley

Jere has modeled for fitness and fashion. He loves doing voices for radio. He’s acted in opera and on community stages, for television commercials, and in several independent film projects. He once investigated a murderous werewolf. It’s been Jere’s honor to portray mythological figures from Hercules to Oberon to Orion. His illustrious list of co-stars includes a cranky horse, a poison-toting Bond Girl, Titania Queen of the Fairies, and the best dance partner in the county. He even tried my hand at directing a short film. As he says, “It’s been one hell of a ride.”

Nobody believed he’d settle down, but at the end of 2012 he quietly took a job as a production editor with Wisconsin’s oldest publishing company – The Wisconsin Historical Society Press. He’s learned to manage every aspect of creating a book and sending it out into the world.

What’s the common theme that ties Jere’s accomplishments together? If you were to ask him he’d reply: “I belong to The Story.”
